Here is a list of Frequently Asked Questions which may answer any questions that you have. If it doesn't, feel free to get in touch.

Q: Where will you take the photos?
A: At your home or on location - or at a dedicated studio if required (at extra cost).

Q: How many photos will you take?
A: There is no set number of photos - it depends upon the subject ("difficult" pets may result in less photos, for example), and how long the session lasts as well as other factors.

Q: Will you use my photos for anything else
A: I may use them to help promote my photography services. Please state beforehand if you do not wish photos of yourself used for this purpose.

Q: What if I'm not happy with the photos?
A: Hopefully this will never happen - you are under no obligation to buy any prints from the photo session if you do not like them, and I may re-do the session again FOC if it is due to an error on my part. Defective photo prints will be replaced like for like.

Q: Will you travel further afield?
A: Yes, but you will have to pay my expenses. This is on a per hour traveled and per mile basis.

Q: How much will it cost me? Are there any hidden fees?
A: Please see the relevant service's pages for details on costs. I've tried as best as possible to detail the costs - if you are not sure, please ask for a quote.

Q: How long will it be before I get my photos?
A: It depends upon how busy I am, what format(s) you've requested (digital, prints, canvases, etc.) as I am reliant upon my suppliers as well as having to edit and process images. However, depending upon any third party services, I aim to have proofs ready within 1 week and final prints within 3 weeks.

Q: Can I print my own photos?
A: To be honest I prefer to control all aspects of printing - this is for quality control reasons. However, digital versions are available for printing up to sizes of around 10x8/A4/12x8.

Q: Can I have a digital version for online sharing?
A: Yes, digital versions can be made available for online sharing (for use on Facebook, etc.) Please note that these will not be suitable for printing.

Q: Will prints be watermarked?
A: Prints and other tangible products will not have any watermarking or branding on them. Limited edition prints may be signed in a lower corner as paintings, etc., are. High resolution versions for your own printing will also not be marked. However, low resoltion versions for sharing may have branding on them.

Q: What "levels" of photography will you do?
A: I am open minded and may go above glamour/boudoir/confidential and art nude levels. Please get in touch with details of what you are after for more information. This doesn't mean that I will do "anything" - the best thing is to just ask me; I won't be offended if you ask, and all I ask in return is that you're not offended if I refuse.

Q: Do you work with same sex couples?
A: Yes! Your sexual orientation makes no difference to me. Nor does your religious preferences, etc.

Q: Why do you not have your own studio?
A: Primarily because a studio costs a lot of money to run. You have the normal running costs of electricity, water, heating and so on, as well as insurance to cover the thousands of pounds worth of extra equipment I would have to buy. Maybe one day I will have one, but it's currently more cost effective to hire out a studio when it's needed and helps me keep my costs low.

I've also found that people tend to be more comfortable in their own home and can bit a bit overwhelmed in a studio for the first time, and can take a while to settle down.
