Pet portraits

As a pet owner myself, with a bouncy Labrador, I know how important our animal friends are to us. With this in mind, I strive to capture your pets' personality and at their best, whether it's a dog, cat, horse or something smaller like a mouse.

I will travel to you for home sessions, or to a location of your choice. Areas covered are Bristol, Bath, W-s-M and immediate surrounding areas - other locations further away from Bristol can be accommodated for an extra fee. Please ask for further information.

Home studio session:
Have studio photos in the comfort of your own home without them being stressed or distracted by being in an unfamiliar environment.
Home studio sessions cost a little extra as it takes time to load/unload and to set up studio equipment. This extra fee also covers wear and tear to equipment and backgrounds.
Please allow approximately 3m x 4m floor space for the studio set up.
Scared of flash? If your pet is scared or wary of flashes, I can still do studio style portraits, but with some limitations. Please let me know beforehand if this is required.

Home session:
Have portraits of your loved ones in the place you know them best. They can be photographed snoozing in their bed or playing in the back garden.

Location session:
Perhaps you have a favourite walk, park or other location that is special to you.

You and your pet:
Why not be photographed together? Have a portrait of yourself and special friend.

Free 8x10 inch print
All the above photo sessions includes an unframed 8"x10" print. Further Prints from 6"x4" and larger are available from £10.

Kennel/Breeder sessions:
I will come to your kennel/home/location and take at least two photos required of each animal. These are usually a standing and a head shot for dogs - cats and other animals can be accommodated to your requirements.

The photos can either be with my portable studio against a range of different backdrops (white, black, light blue and mottled grey/purple) or if your location has a suitable backdrop (perhaps a garden) this can be used instead. Images will be supplied on a CD in JPEG format ready for print, as well as web sized versions.

I can also design and have the photos printed to card (usually A6 in size) which you can use to promote your dogs. Please get in touch with your requirements for more information.

Horse / horse and rider
I can take photos of your horse on location for promotional purposes or as a portrait for the photo album (or to be hung on the wall). I can also take photos of you in action riding your horse either for fun, or at an event. Please get in touch with your requirements for further information.

Duration
By default photo sessions last up to 2 hours (unless otherwise stated) and includes time familiarising with your pet and location.

I generally do not "clock watch", but there are times when 2 hours simply isn't enough time. In such cases, an extra fee may be charged for any time over the shoot was scheduled to last for at a rate of £25 an hour.
